Autonomous mowing for
America's right-of-ways.
Skyridge Inc. is building electric hybrid, autonomous mowing systems for highway corridors, airport grounds, and public lands. We're in active development and partnering with a small number of state DOTs and public agencies on first-deployment pilots.
Our Services
Industrial Mowing, Reimagined
Purpose-built autonomous solutions for every public right-of-way.
Interstate & Highway Mowing
Autonomous fleet management for federal and state highway corridors. We handle medians, shoulders, and interchange areas at scale.
Airport Vegetation Control
FAA-compliant vegetation management for runways, taxiways, and perimeter zones to maintain safety standards and reduce wildlife hazards.
State Parks & Public Lands
Precision mowing for state parks, recreation areas, and government facilities while preserving natural ecosystems.
Safety & Compliance
Our autonomous systems operate without human exposure to traffic hazards. Full regulatory compliance with DOT and federal safety standards.
Autonomous Fleet Technology
GPS-guided, AI-powered mowing units with real-time monitoring, geofencing, and remote operation capabilities.
Low-Emission Operations
Efficient autonomous mowers with low emissions, helping agencies meet sustainability goals and reduce carbon footprints.
About Skyridge
Built for the scale of America's infrastructure.
Skyridge is a founder-led startup designing autonomous vegetation-management systems for public agencies. Our thesis is simple: roadside mowing is one of the largest, most dangerous, and most overlooked maintenance lines in the United States — and it's a problem autonomy is well-suited to solve.
We're not a fleet operator today. We're an engineering company building toward a 2026 pilot launch with founding agency partners.
System design goals
- All-electric drivetrain · low emissions
- GPS + RTK precision · sub-decimeter accuracy
- Geofenced operating envelopes
- Removes workers from traffic exposure
- Night-shift operating capability
- Per-acre telemetry for agency reporting

We publish this status board because public agencies deserve to know what stage a vendor is in. We'd rather lose a deal than be misleading about readiness.
Our approach
Four steps from RFP to monthly mowing report.
We design the pilot program around the agency's procurement process, not around ours. This is what the engagement looks like end-to-end.
Site survey & geofence
We map the corridor with the agency's GIS team, define no-go zones, drainage features, and seasonal exclusions. Output is an approved operating envelope on file.
Staged deployment
Fleet stages at an agency-approved depot. Pre-shift safety check, MUTCD-compliant signage, and remote operator on standby for every shift.
Autonomous mowing
Units operate within the geofence on a published schedule. Live telemetry streamed to the agency dashboard; any anomaly pages a human operator immediately.
Per-acre reporting
Monthly maintenance reports tied to mile-marker segments, photographed before/after, with kWh consumed and labor hours saved. Drops straight into your AMP filing.
For public agencies
Procurement information & founding partner program.
Skyridge is a U.S.-based, founder-led startup. We're early — and we believe agency procurement officers deserve a straight answer to every readiness question on day one.
561730541715333112The founding partner program.
We're selecting up to three founding agency partners for our 2026 pilot cohort. The terms are designed to lower the procurement bar — at this stage, the right partner is more valuable to us than the contract itself.
- 01Cost-recovery pricing, year one. Founding partners pay only direct operating costs through the first season. No margin charged.
- 02Engineering access. Direct working sessions with the founder and engineering lead. Your maintenance team helps shape the product roadmap.
- 03Joint case-study rights. Co-authored case study, jointly-published results, and a public reference your team can point peers to.
- 04Off-ramp clauses standard. Pilot is structured as a 90-day evaluation with a no-cause termination clause — you can walk at any review milestone.
- 05Cooperative purchasing pathway. Where useful, we'll structure the engagement through Sourcewell, NASPO ValuePoint, or your state cooperative vehicle once registered.
